The Purpose of Her H.O.P.E. Foundation
The purpose of Her HOPE Foundation is to provide transitional shelter and assistance to unhoused women veterans as they remove and overcome obstacles in the path of their success. Through hands on guidance before, during and after their recovery. Her HOPE Foundation believes in supporting the Honor of each female veteran, provide Opportunities, recognizing her Personal courage as they build on their Experiences in a safe environment.
Welcome to Her HOPE Foundation, born from the strength and resilience of female veterans who have triumphed over their own hardships after military service. Founded by women who have faced the unique challenges of reintegration into civilian life, our mission is to bridge the critical gaps in services and shelter for unhoused female veterans, whether they are single or accompanied by dependent children.
At Her HOPE Foundation, we recognize that the journey to recovery and stability is multifaceted. Our dedicated team is committed to creating a nurturing residential environment that fosters empowerment and self-sufficiency. We offer a comprehensive range of support services, including housing assistance, counseling, life skills training, and job placement programs. Each of our residents is met with compassion and understanding, as we walk alongside them on their path to healing.
Her HOPE Foundation aims to honor and cater to the underserved population of our nation’s hero’s, women veterans. Our goal is to build a community of temporary, residential, transitional homes for unhoused women veterans, meet the veteran where they are in life and provide support by offering a hand up not handout.
Her HOPE Foundation is a GA Registered NON-PROFIT, 501(c)(3) organization. Her HOPE Foundation meets all federal and state regulations concerning transitional housing of homeless women veterans. Regulations include Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. 111-8-19-.21, Georgia’s Continuum of Care Network, Georgia Homeless Management Information Systems (HMIS).
